I grew up internationally as a nominal Muslim before converting to Christianity in my early 20s. This background, experience working in faith-based community serving agencies, education in Christian theology, economics and community economic development, leaves me with an interest in cross-cultural understanding and engaging the diversity of Canadian cultural and religious communities as part of the process of developing social programs and policy
