Pandit Roopnauth Sharma Pandit Roopnauth Sharma is the founder and Spiritual Leader of Mississauga’s Ram Mandir, a Hindu temple, where he attends to a community of over 4,000 families from the Region of Peel and surrounding areas, on all religious and social matters.

He is also the founder of Canada Hindu Heritage Centre (CHHC). CHHC is focused on addressing the social, economical cultural and recreational needs of the Hindu community. Pandit Sharma is also the driving force behind projects related to family issues, poverty, youth violence and seniors. He is actively engaged in providing spiritual care and counseling services.

Pandit Sharma has received many community service awards and is a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Medal Pandit Sharma currently is engaged in senior positions in diverse community service organizations including President of the Hindu Federation, President of the Canadian Multi-faith Federation, and President of Canada Hindu Heritage Centre, as well as others.

Professionally Pandit Sharma has an extensive banking background combined with thirty years of information technology and management consulting experience. During this period he served in many senior management positions in public and private corporations. Which includes Senior Manager PricewaterhouseCoopers, Manager Oracle, Manager Ernst Young Cap Gemini and Director Information Technology.
